I’m Elizabeth, but if you’re reading this blog, you likely already knew that. So you also know that my face isn’t nearly as purple as it looks in this picture.
In case we don’t know each other, I maintain this blog to occasionally write about the things I’m preoccupied with: the personalities of places I’ve lived, books, especially those by George Orwell, teaching, the deep intersections between pop culture and the human heart, and my ambivalent relationships with my generation and the Democratic party. I have a flair for the dramatic, but I’m really polite, and I can make a hooded sweatshirt look oddly glamorous.
